Tattoos
One of my favorite things to do upon meeting new people is watch their faces when they notice I have a tattoo on my forearm (I actually have one on both forearms, but one is white ink text and most people don’t see it unless they’re really looking).

Tumblr announced today a plan to ban from the website blogs that actively promote self-harm, e.g., anorexia, bulimia, self-mutilation, or suicide. The new policy will likely take effect starting next week.
Well that’s interesting. Not sure how I feel about it, really.. but I wonder how effectively this will be enforced, and how quickly thinspo/pro-ana bloggers...

Just throwing this out there: I have had a trans-vaginal ultrasound. It is as far from sex as being consensually penetrated by a vaguely phallic object as it is possible to be. I cannot imagine the trauma of having that procedure done without my consent.

Blech to the commenter who says she’s pro-abstinence because it “keeps self-worth intact.” I mean, yes, sure, if that’s what you want to do with your body, more power to you.
